The locking assemblies are another type of innovative standard components for connecting the shaft and sprocket or belt pulley. The joint is carried out by means of friction between the cylindrical surfaces of the shaft, the lock and the hub, which is obtained by slipping the conical parts of the lock by tensioning.
The locking assemblies ensure easy positioning, quick assembly, installation and removal, without the need of key joints, zero clearances and increased strength of the shafts. The composition is not affected by frequent changes of the drive direction, and can also be used as a safety coupling.
