What are MOVEX conveyor system components?
MOVEX (Movex S.r.l., Telgate, Bergamo, Italy) is a leading manufacturer of modular conveyor components for the food, pharmaceutical, packaging and general industry. The components are designed to work with flat-top, modular and tab conveyor chains, providing complete infrastructure for conveyor lines — from the profiles on which the chain slides, to brackets, clamps and curves.

Profiles and guides
Profiles
Profiles are guide elements made of UHMW-PE (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) or metal, mounted along the conveyor frame. They define the chain path, reduce friction and ensure quiet, long-lasting operation. UHMW-PE profiles have extremely low friction, high wear resistance and chemical inertness.

Guide Rails and Slides
Guide rails are lateral elements mounted along the conveyor to keep the chain in the correct position and prevent lateral deviation. Conical guide rails are especially suited to curves and variable-width sections.

Roller Guides
Roller guides are aluminium profiles with built-in rollers made of acetal resin or PE, ensuring minimal friction. Designed for side and centre chain guidance. Max. load at M8 fixing bolt: 15 N/m.

Side Brackets and Supports
Side brackets support the guide rails on the conveyor frame. Available in three sizes (small, medium, large) with various configurations — fixed, high knob, adjustable and stainless steel. Material: polyamide (PA); bolts and studs: stainless steel.

Corner Tracks (Curves)
Corner tracks are among the most important components of a conveyor system — they provide smooth, reliable chain deflection through angles (typically 15°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 90°). MOVEX offers two main types: magnetic curves and tab curves.
Magnetic Curves — Series 880/881
Magnetic curves are the most effective and reliable solution for deflecting a flat-top chain in a horizontal plane. The upper surface is high-quality UHMW-PE with integrated magnets that hold the chain in the curve without additional guides. Advantages: hygienic design (the chain can be lifted easily for cleaning), fewer spare parts to stock, reduced friction.

The upper surface of the magnetic curve can be supplied on request in UHMW-PE for abrasive applications (add 'B' or 'C' to the code).
Tab Curves — Series 882
Tab curves use a different retention mechanism — the tab system, which mechanically engages the tab links of the chain. Suitable for wider chains and heavier applications.

Plugs and Anchors
Plugs (Part 415 — round tubes, Part 416 — square tubes) are PA polyamide threaded inserts for mounting the conveyor frame. Available for tube diameters/sections: Ø30, Ø38, Ø42.4, Ø48.3, Ø50, Ø50.9, Ø60.3 mm (round) and square sections. Threads: M10, M12, M14, M16, M20.

What is the difference between small, medium and large brackets?
The size (small/medium/large) determines the achievable working width and adjustment range of the side guide. Small brackets (301/302) suit narrow conveyors; medium (305–308) are the most widely used; large (309–312) suit wide conveyors and heavier guides. All work with Ø50 mm conical tubes.
Can the magnetic curves work with all MOVEX chains?
Magnetic curves Series 880/881 are designed for Series 880 and 881 chains (flat-top). The curve's pitch and width must match the chain's pitch and width (85 mm, 90 mm or 120 mm). For Series 882 (Tab) chains, tab curves are used instead.
