FAQ

What is the difference between SW and NMRV gearboxes?

Both are Motovario worm gearboxes with similar technical parameters. The key difference is the housing: SW has a compact round smooth body – less space. Bearings, flanges and accessories are identical, making the two series fully interchangeable.

What is the maximum power?

Up to 7.5 kW (SW105). For higher power, choose the NMRV series (up to 18.5 kW).

When to choose SW instead of NMRV?

When the installation space is critically limited, power is up to 7.5 kW, and you need a more compact housing than NMRV provides.

Is ATEX available?

Yes – ATEX version available on special request. Specify the zone when enquiring.
