What are conical bevel gears
Conical (bevel) gears transmit rotary motion between two shafts whose axes intersect at an angle — always 90° in Nibora Ltd.'s range. They work in pairs where both gears share the same module but may have a different number of teeth, which sets the ratio between them.
The range covers 4 ratios — 1:1 (both gears with equal teeth count), 1:2, 1:3 and 1:4, each available in modules from 1.5 to 5, C45 material, 20° pressure angle.

De is the outer diameter, Dp the pitch diameter, A the overall hub length, F the face width, Dn/D1 the bore and hub dimensions, L/Lm the hub length.

Frequently asked questions
How do I choose a ratio?
The ratio (1:1, 1:2, 1:3 or 1:4) sets the speed relationship between the driving and driven shaft. At ratio 1:1 both gears have identical teeth count; at 1:2, 1:3 and 1:4 the driven gear has 2, 3 or 4 times more teeth than the driving gear respectively — see the "Teeth" column for each pair in the full table.
Must both gears in a pair have the same module?
Yes — to mesh correctly, both bevel gears in a drive must share the same module and pressure angle (20° across Nibora Ltd.'s whole range), as well as shafts intersecting exactly at the intended angle (90°).
What is the price of the bevel gears?
Contact Nibora Ltd. for a quote based on the selected ratio, module and number of teeth.
