What is an HRC coupling
The HRC coupling is a flexible coupling where two hubs with segmented jaws grip a six-lobed-section rubber block placed between them. The rubber block absorbs shock loads and torsional vibration while compensating for small angular and radial misalignment between shafts.
It is available in two versions — pilot bore (supplied unmachined, bored to the exact shaft diameter during installation) or taper bush, for quick fitting and removal without precision shaft machining.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between pilot bore and taper bush versions?
The pilot bore version is supplied unmachined and bored to the exact shaft diameter; the taper bush version uses a standard bush for quick fitting and removal without any machining.
What loads does the rubber block absorb?
Shock loads and torsional vibration between the driving and driven shaft, with compensation for small angular and radial misalignment.
