What is an FCL pin coupling
The FCL pin coupling is a flanged coupling where two discs (half-couplings) are joined by steel pins wrapped in rubber rings, fitted into the bores of the opposite disc. The rubber rings absorb shock and vibration during torque transmission while compensating for small angular misalignment between shafts.
The number and diameter of the pins increase with coupling size (from 4 pins on the FCL90 to 18 pins on the FCL630), allowing transmission of substantial torque — up to 15,680 Nm on the largest size.
